Earlier tonight I took part in a Salvation Army "design challenge" for the African Student Association at my school! We were given a budget of $30 and sent to the Salvation Army to find outfits with African influences. I didn't win, which was fine because everyone had great outfits...........but I was so confused by the winner. Their designs were really good, but there was no hint of African influence which just baffled me and everyone else haha, but it was still fun!
